Mussels with a Belgian strong golden. Perhaps that is too obvious.

Here is a fantastic recipe for Beer Bread from my friend Karin,

it's 3 cups of flour (any kind you like or a mix, I usually mix whole
wheat and white and/or 10 grain mix)
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of salt
1 can or bottle of beer

Mix with a wooden spoon, you just have to mix until it comes together.
the dough should be relatively dry and come loose from the bowl. Put
in in a pre greased 4x8 mold and bake for about an hour on 380 (the
original recipe was 50 min on 370 , but this works better on my oven)

You can add to the recipe with a little bit of brown sugar depending
on how sweet the beer is or your preference. I usually also throw in a
handful of buckwheat, sunflower seeds, semolina or whatever whole
seeds you like.

Note from Denise: When I made the bread I put in some cane syrup
and some loose grains from Back to Basics in Rocky Point. I used
millet, wheat berries, spelt and flaked wheat.
