Firkin Friday at DEKS at Deks American Restaurant - 605 Route 25A (just west of Broadway on Main Street) - Rocky Point, NY, NY 11778

Dean's got a cask of Ridgeway Bitter this time. It's a 4% ABV real ale and available only on Friday the 17th.
I completely agree. Selling beer as "cask" that is simply put into a firkin is inappropriate and false repersentation of a product. It is no different then misrepresenting the abv of a beer. Why not add a percent or two to make your beer seem bigg...

I wanted you to know that the LIBME is having a Brew-In in Rocky Point on Saturday August 1st from 8am-4pm+. It's at the newly developed Rocky Point Artisan Brewery on 156 Hallock Landing Road in Rocky Point, which is not open to the public (it's someone's house).
As it is almost an all day affair, it's easy for anyone to drop in and out. We will be brewing a Hefewiezen style beer and I assume it will be all grain too.
If you can make it, we would like to see you and if you are interested in attending, please send me an email to rbthatcherjr@gmail.com. I also need your email address as we are compiling two lists for overlap prevention.
