- I'm a science teacher and although I'm not much into chemistry.......I'm learning about how it applies to beer (and no, I'm not just concerned with BAC :-) I did some extract and partial-grain brewing back in '02 with limited success but getting back into it again. This group/club seems one cool way to make it and drink it and meet like-minded people.

Welcome to the LIBME. I think you will find our beer lovin' group to be a unique and casual group with a diverse membership from all over LI. We welcome everyone's participation and if you have an idea for an event, then speak up!
This group will be shifting to regular monthly meeting from just an event based calendar starting in September. The details will be forthcoming.
