Welcome to the LIBME! I just finished writing the commentary of our showing at the Nassau Coliseum on Saturday when I saw your sign on. I hope that you find us to be a good casual group of beer brewing and lovin' people from all over LI.
I should note that we function on line here as well as in the Google Groups section for The Long Island Beer & Malt Enthusiasts.
We also function live with meetings scheduled for the 1st Wednesday of every month in a beer bar we choose in advance. The meetings shift East/West by the month to give everyone a chance to show. We don't have meeting requirements as we recognize almost everyone we know has a life, family, and work.
If you have an idea for the group, or simply want to get some folks together for a social time, just post it and see who responds.
