Kotobuki gets a lot of good press, yet I have not been there. I will bet the place gets crowded on weekends. Maybe we should investigate....
I think Sushi Park is a decent place to start and good place to have a meeting as they have huge rooms. The Sushi Pigs could give out awards to the best places with pig stickers...

Kotobuki serves up the best sushi I have had, anywhere from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington DC, New York City, or Long Island. There are three locations now: Hauppauge, Babylon Village, and Roslyn.
The beer selection is the basic run of Japanese offerings, but I plan on encouraging Yoshi (the owner) to add some others -- particularly from a small startup brewery I happen to know about ;)

- My two favorite places are Midori in Oyster Bay, NY and the Kura Barn in Huntington, NY. Of course, a few stops at Whole Food's and King Kullen's sushi stands never hurt anyone along the way...
